I've been a literary magazine editor since 1994, have edited over thirty print issues of three different magazines, and have worked with hundreds of writers, emerging and established, to get their work into print. I'm a former editor of Black Warrior Review (1997-1999) and New Orleans Review (1999-2012) (check out "Crescent City Blues," Tony D'Souza's review of my post-Katrina issue of NOR here). I'm currently the editor of Midwest Review, and also critique manuscripts through the University of Wisconsin Continuing Studies Writing Program Critique Service.
